Prince William, Kate Middleton Changed After Welcoming Louis, Body Language Expert Says
Kate Middleton and Prince William's body language seemed to have changed after welcoming their third child.
On Tuesday, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge stepped out together for their first joint engagement following Middleton's six months maternity leave. Prince William and his wife attended the first Global Ministerial Mental Health Summit in London. According to Judi James, a body language expert, something has changed in the couple.
"There seems to have been some intrinsic changes in the body language of Kate and husband William since the birth of their third child," James told Express.
"Kate seems to have increased in confidence here at their first public outing together since the birth and William is unusually tactile, flashing some sweet 'pinging' smiles at his wife to suggest he's incredibly pleased to have her back at his side," James continued.
James also noticed that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge tend to be more touchy than before. She attributed this to the pleasure of parenting or it could be due to the influence of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle who are always tactile in public.
"The pair always look happy and loving but usually in a non-tactile way," the body language expert added. "This tendency to touch in public seems to be a new trait for them. It could be a signal of delighted parenthood but it might also have been prompted by the very tactile displays from Harry and Meghan."
For the said outing, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge agreed to recycle their outfits during their official visit in Germany. Both royals were photographed wearing the exact wardrobe in 2017 in Hamburg with their children Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
In related news, on Wednesday, Middleton stepped out for a solo visit to the Victoria and Albert Museum. Middleton arrived in a new off-the-shoulder fitter tweed dress by Erdem. The royal mom looked gorgeous in her outfit that featured a burgundy belt, button detailing and flared skirt.
The said dress was inspired by Queen Elizabeth II's dress when she met the late American jazz pianist Duke Ellington. Many also compared it to Meghan Markle's dress during the Trooping the Colour 2018 as it exposed the Duchess of Cambridge's shoulder.
