Priyanka Chopra Celebrates Holi With Nick Jonas And In-Laws In London

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas celebrated the ancient Hindu festival, Holi, together at the comfort of their home in London amid the ongoing pandemic.

The star couple shared a candid picture on Instagram Sunday where they were seen smeared on Holi colours along with Jonas' parents. The festival marks the warmer spring season and the end of winter.

Chopra captioned the photo on Instagram "Holi, the festival of colours is one of my favourites. Hope we can all celebrate it with our loved ones, but in our HOMES! #HappyHoli everyone."

Chopra could be seen wearing a grey hoodie, white t-shirt, and grey sweat pants in the photo. The 38-year-old actress had a multi-color water gun in her hand while Jonas and his parents had colorful paint stains on their clothes.

"Happy Holi! From our family to yours! #holi," the 28-year-old singer captioned.

This wasn't the first time Jonas celebrated Holi. Last year, before the coronavirus pandemic lockdown, the couple celebrated the festival in India.

"My first Holi! (Five days early)So much fun celebrating with such incredible people here in my second home in India," he captioned the celebration pictures and a video of Chopra enjoying the rain dance.

The festival is usually celebrated with large gatherings. However, due to the ongoing pandemic, the couple decided to host a small gathering at their home in London instead.

Before the celebration, Chopra took to Instagram Saturday to announce the opening day of her new restaurant, SONA.

"TODAY IS OPENING DAY @sonanewyork!" she captioned. "What started as a simple craving for great Indian food has become this labour of love, and I can’t wait to welcome you all in, and for you to experience timeless India in the heart of NYC!"

She also thanked Jonas for coming up with the name, SONA. "Hubby came up with the name at an early tasting with the team, as Sona means “gold,” and he had heard that word in India, well...A LOT, throughout our wedding!" she explained.

Chopra's upcoming projects include "The Matrix 4" helmed by Lana Wachowski and stars Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Anne Moss, and Jada Pinkett Smith in key roles. She will also feature in "Cowboy Ninja Viking" with Chris Pratt.

On the other hand, Jonas was recently seen in "Chaos Walking" starring Tom Holland and Daisy Ridley released on March 5.
