Actress Priyanka Chopra attended the Wimbledon Women's Singles finals between Ashleigh Barty and Karolina Pliskova in London on Saturday.
The 38-year-old actress took to Instagram on Sunday morning to share a series of photos from the event. She wrote in the caption, "An amazing weekend at @wimbledon" before congratulating Australian tennis player Barty and Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic for their respective victories.
Chopra went on to thank the Chairman of the All England Club, Ian Hewitt for having her as the guest. She concluded by complimenting her friend Natasha Poonawalla, who accompanied her throughout the event and wrote, "best dates." Chopra also tagged photographer Divya Akhouri and blogger James G Boulter in the post.
Chopra donned a high neck and full sleeves white dress at the tennis tournament. The actress wore high heels and a belt around her waist. She completed her look with a brown handbag and black shades.
In the first photo shared on her Instagram, she posed with her friend Poonawalla, who also donned a white formal outfit. In the second photo, the actress can be seen posing for the camera before entering the car. In the third photo, she posed with writer Cavanaugh James.
During the event, the actress was seated in the Royal box along with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate Middleton. Tennis legends Martina Navratilova and Billie Jean King were also present in the same box along with Hollywood stars such as Tom Cruise and Dame Maggie Smith.
On the work front, Chopra will be next seen in Lana Wachowski's directorial "The Matrix 4," which is slated to release on Dec. 16, this year. The movie also stars Keanu Reeves, Jessica Henwick, and Christina Ricci in key roles.
She will also star in James C. Strouse's directorial "Text for You," which is currently under post-production. The movie also stars Sam Heughan, Celine Dion, and Lydia West.
In March, Chopra also opened her first restaurant, SONA at 36 E 20th St New York. Last month, she visited the restaurant personally for the first time and tried some Indian snacks.
