‘Real Housewives Of Atlanta’ Alum NeNe Leakes Shares Heartbreaking Update About Husband Gregg

“Real Housewives of Atlanta” alum NeNe Leakes shared a heartbreaking update about her husband Gregg Leakes’ health after she was called “rude” by a fan.

The incident happened at the Linnethia Lounge in Duluth, Georgia, where a fan spotted NeNe and asked her to get on the microphone and wish them a happy birthday.

When the reality star declined, customers reportedly began calling her “rude” for not acknowledging the birthday.

NeNe eventually addressed the crowd and wished the individual happy birthday, but she also shared a shocking update that suggested her husband is in the process of dying amid his battle with colon cancer.

“My husband is transitioning to the other side,” she told the crowd. “You don’t know what we’re dealing with right now. We walked in this lounge because we had to walk in this lounge because this is our business.”

“So, when people approach and say, ‘you’re rude because you don’t want to say happy birthday,’ my husband is at home dying. I don’t want to say ‘happy birthday,’ okay?”

Gregg was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer in 2018, but it went into remission in 2019. At the time, NeNe shared an Instagram post expressing her excitement over the big news.

“Look at God! We are over joyed to say, we saw the doctors for the results of Gregg’s Pet Scan he took last week! Test show, wait for It.....WE ARE CANCER FREE!!! Yes God!” she wrote in the caption of a photo of Gregg.

However, in June, NeNe revealed his cancer had returned. While NeNe didn’t share too many details about Gregg’s condition while she was speaking to the crowd at the lounge, she revealed that her husband most likely won’t be alive in the next few days.
