According to the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s office, a preliminary investigation pointed out the man was killed before his son and grandson were found dead May 15.

Firefighters from the Kill Devil Hills Fire Department responded to the 200 block of Pine Grove Trail early Sunday and found a converted apartment building engulfed in flames.

Out of the 48 mixed-breed dogs that were inside the vehicle, 14 of them died in the crash.

The infant was later found unharmed at his maternal grandmother's home.

When the deputies approached the seller’s vehicle, occupied by three persons, the driver sped away from the scene.

The man initially told police that one of the suspects stabbed his daughter in the stomach.

The kick was with enough force that the girl was sent flying and she knocked her head against an object.

“I don’t recall in over 30 years being here that I’ve ever heard of a situation quite like this,” said Cindy Bachman, the public information officer for the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s office.

The Indiana police were able to locate him driving the victim’s car in the South Bend area of Indiana, which was about 90 miles away from the crime scene

The boy informed the police that his father was assaulting his mother. He said the man pushed her down a flight of brick steps outside their home, before driving away with her.

Children’s Protective Services opened an investigation into the residence where the boy lived with his mother and her boyfriend.

A woman and her brother were the prime witnesses of the shooting incident. Upon questioning the witnesses, officers learned that the woman was the mother of the victim's 10-month-old child.

She immediately got out of the shed and managed to get one of her dogs with her. Unfortunately, she couldn’t save her puppy who hid under the furniture.

The teenager was at home when the officers arrived and he later confessed to the slaying.

The woman succumbed to injuries after her French Bulldog viciously attacked her.

The suspect had arrived at the home earlier in the day with her baby.

The officers found the presence of blood in the truck’s bed. When the officers pointed it out to the suspect and confronted him about where it came from, he admitted to killing his mother and dumping her body.

The officers spoke to the boy who told them that the abuse started since he “got out of school for this corona thing.”

The children were unsupervised and trapped inside the basement as the doors were locked.

The man was charged with first-degree murder.

During the investigation, the officials confirmed her ex-husband to be a point of interest in the slaying. However, the motive behind the killing is not known.

The man, engaged in oral sex and other deviant acts with a toddler girl while her grandmother, recorded the gruesome act.

The authorities said it was not clear whether the suspect died of a self-inflicted injury or in the police firing.

“To hear that anybody would hurt an animal, or even dump an animal in this way, it’s just heartbreaking,” said Gina Greisen, an activist.

An unknown man, fired shots at the victim while he was inside the apartment with his child. Luckily, he was not hit and managed to escape through the window.

The body was sent for an autopsy but it was so badly decomposed that the medical examiner could not immediately determine the cause of death.

Multiple witnesses at the scene saw the suspect taking the child and throwing her off a cliff into a ravine. He then fled on foot to the canyon before the police arrived.

The father walked up to his neighbor and informed that the suspect had stabbed his younger brother multiple times including in the neck

“Investigators believe the shooting appears to be accidental and self-inflicted,” a Facebook statement from the Tucson Police Department read.
