Ronnie Ortiz-Magro Confirms He Will Be Part Of ‘Jersey Shore’ Reunion?
Shortly after one of his co-stars indicated he may not be participating in the highly anticipated “Jersey Shore” reunion, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro seems to be setting the record straight through a series of Instagram posts.
In an interview with Us Weekly, Deena Cortese said that Ronnie wasn’t a part of the gang’s first reunion—for a Burger King commercial—because no one else from the cast had really kept up with him recently, so she wasn’t sure if he would participate in their planned “Reunion Roadtrip.”

“I honestly don’t know if anyone has spoken to him about it,” she said. “Right now we’re in a group chat with me [and everyone else]. Ronnie’s actually not in it right now, in the group chat, but we’re all talking about it and we’re all trying to figure out ways to make it happen.”
However, Ronnie seems to be alleging that the reports are untrue, posting a video of himself on Instagram where he laughs and uses a series of hashtags indicating that the story he isn’t a part of the show is a false one.
“When people saying your not gonna be apart of #JSReunion,” he wrote, alongside the hashtags “WhenTheMediaMakesUpTheirOwnStories, #ButforgettheFAKEstories and more.
Those posts followed ones a few days before, where he shared throwback images of his times with his cast.
One image, which also used the hashtag #JSReunion, featured him in a hot tub with co-stars Vinny Guadagnino, Paul “Pauly D” DelVecchio and Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino.
The second image saw him with the guys and his female co-stars, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Jenni “JWOWW” Farley, Deena, and former on/off girlfriend Samantha “Sammi Sweetheart” Giancola, when they traveled to Italy for the original show’s fourth season.
None of his other cast members have acknowledged his posts on social media.

Deena had addressed Ronnie’s absence from the Burger King commercial initially, admitting that she herself doesn’t speak to him following his not reaching out after her father passed away, but said she thought he might sign on, regardless of any issues within the group since the original series wrapped in 2012. She also admitted that she didn’t think his being on the show would pose a problem for either him or Sammi, because she doesn’t get the sense there’s still drama there.
“I’m sure he’d be willing to sign on. We just all haven’t spoken to him. I think Vinny’s the only one that really talks to him,” she said. “Sam is the happiest I’ve ever seen her, so I think she would be just fine if Ronnie is there. She’s doing great. I don’t think his presence would bother her at all.”
It’s unclear if the reunion will consist of one television special or if it will be ordered as a series, though Deena did also stress that the group would still be having fun, despite the changes in so many of their lives since the show went off the air, which include Jenni and Nicole both becoming married moms with two kids.
“I would just love to be back in the dynamic of all of us going out and even though we have kids or we’re getting married, we’d still go out and have a good time, drink and show the world we’re still this dysfunctional family,” she said. “I’m sure me and Nicole would still have our little meatball time because we’re both big winos. We love our wine now. We went from vodka to wine. We got pretty classy.”
