Royal Fans Praised Prince Harry’s Surprise Appearance At Meghan Markle’s Engagement

Prince Harry was praised for crashing Meghan Markle’s royal engagement.

The Duke of Sussex made a surprising appearance when the Duchess of Sussex attended a meeting with youth ambassadors from One Young World where they discussed the initiatives to improve gender equality and female empowerment. Prince Harry drove his wife to the planned engagement at Windsor Castle in his grey electric Audi E-Tron, Daily Star reported.

“Thanks you for letting him crash the party,” Markle said while laughing, prompting others to do the same.

Netizens who saw the video found Prince Harry and Markle very cute. Many were also delighted to see the duke accompanying his wife in her duties even if he was not expected to be there.

“THIS is how you support your wife! Not by trimming rose bushes… You don't lay around the house when your spouse has an important engagement that also means a lot to you. I love these 2 more and more every day!” one online user wrote on Twitter.

Another online user praised the couple’s love for each other and said that Prince Harry wanted to be by his wife’s side. Also, the duke would certainly not want his spouse out looking that good alone.

This wasn’t the first time Prince Harry joined an engagement when his attendance wasn’t expected. The Duke of Sussex was also not scheduled to attend the Anzac Day service back in April. However, he showed up and accompanied her sister-in-law Kate Middleton.

According to a royal insider, Prince Harry did it because he felt that it was the best time to reunite with Middleton. He reportedly didn’t want to destroy his friendship with the duchess whom he considered to be the sister he never had.

At the time, Prince Harry and Prince William were rumored to be feuding and the future king was in New Zealand. Also, Markle was still on maternity leave, so Prince Harry and Middleton reunited for the event. Prince William’s wife and brother were very close, so the royal fans were very happy to see them together prompting one netizen to describe them as “beautiful duo.”
