Song Hye Kyo Continues Showing Love To Friends After Song Joong Ki Divorce

Song Hye Kyo remains to be one of the most talked-about Asian actresses today despite her being away from the spotlight for several months now. The “Descendants of the Sun” lead star, previously, announced her decision to take a break from work after her divorce from Song Joong Ki was finalized in July.

The 38-year-old actress, reportedly, stayed in New York City after she and Song Joong Ki ended their marriage officially. Song Hye Kyo, allegedly, enrolled herself in an art school in the Big Apple and took up a short-term course. Though she was away from South Korea at the time, her close pals shared photos and minute updates about the “Full House” actress on social media.

Recently, Song Yoon Ah revealed that Song Hye Kyo gave her a sweet gift while working on her upcoming new project. The “Encounter” star sent a food truck to the set of the imminent drama titled “Elegant Friends.” Yoon Ah even shared some snaps of the food truck.

“I can’t believe it, what an amazing surprise…” Song Yoon Ah wrote in the caption. “I love you… forever…” she went on. One of the photos even showed the Song Hye Kyo’s message put in a banner. “My Yoon Ah unnie! To the cast and crew of ‘Elegant Friends,’ find strength!!” it read.

In June, Song Hye Kyo also sent food trucks to the set of “Hotel del Luna” as her way of showing support to IU. “Song Hye Kyo, an angel who always takes care of people around her, prepared an unlimited amount of coffee, drinks, and patbingsu (shaved ice with red bean) for IU, staff members, and actors [of ‘Hotel del Luna’], who are working hard until late at night,” a coffee truck company wrote on an Instagram post.

Meanwhile, Ock Joo Hyun shared a heartfelt message for Song Hye Kyo on Instagram earlier this month. “My heartfelt warm for days thinking about our treasure-like stories from when we first met at 18 and 19 years old. Thank you, friends,” she posted on Instagram, together with a zoomed-out snap of herself chatting talking with the “Worlds Within” actress and Jo Yeo Jeong. The trio has been friends since they were in high school.
