Song Hye Kyo's Private Information Exposed; Song Joong Ki's Ex Returning To Work Next Year

Song Hye Kyo is, undeniably, one of the most popular Asian actresses today. In fact, even if she is currently away from the limelight, the “Descendants of the Sun” actress continues to make it to the headlines. However, avid followers of Song Joong Ki’s former wife got alarmed after her personal information were leaked online.

Asia One shared that, as per Sin Chew Daily’s report, Song Hye Kyo’s private details such as her contact number, home address and even her driver’s license were spread like wildfire. The news publication claimed that “Full House” star’s personal information were taken from Customs declaration forms between 2011 and 2015.

“We recently obtained customs declaration documents and photos of public figures from a whistleblower,” SBS reported earlier this month. “From what we are aware, the documents were leaked by a customs official identified as Mr. Kim and his co-workers who were working at Incheon International Airport and Gimpo Airport at the time,” it continued. Song Hye Kyo has yet to comment on the information leak.

Aside from Song Hye Kyo, other personalities who were victimized by the data breach include Hyundai Motor Group executive vice-president Chung Eui Sun, Japanese former national soccer team player Hidetoshi Nakata, singer Kim Tae Won, Korean-Japanese pianist Yang Bang Ean and South Korean former football player and television personality Ahn Jung Hwan. South Korea's Customs Service is, currently, investigating the case.

Meanwhile, Song Hye Kyo was spotted spending quality time with her close pals after her infamous divorce from Song Joong Ki. South Korean singer Ock Joo Hyun even shared a photo of herself while talking to the “Encounter” actress and Jo Yeo Jeong on Instagram. “My heartfelt warm for days thinking about our treasure-like stories from when we first met at 18 and 19 years old. Thank you, friends,” the “Sweet Rainyday” singer wrote in the caption.

In September, Song Hye Kyo was said to have enrolled for a short-term course in an art school in New York City. The “Worlds Within” actress, reportedly, flew off to the United States just a few days after her divorce with Song Joong Ki was finalized. She was even spotted at the Ralph Lauren Collection on Sept. 7 and spent the Korean Thanksgiving Day in the Big Apple.

Song Hye Kyo is expected to return to the limelight next year. Aside from her upcoming television project with Joo Ji Hoon called “Hyena,” the Asian superstar will also be working with director Wong Kar Wai’s production company, Jet Tone Films, for a movie.
