Stassi Schroeder and three more stars will not be returning to “Vanderpump Rules.”
Schroeder and Kristen Doute reportedly called the cops to investigate Faith Stowers, the only black cast member on “Vanderpump Rules,” for an alleged robbery in 2018. They tried to get her arrested by falsely accusing her of a crime she didn’t do.
Bravo didn’t tolerate what Schroeder and Doute did after learning about the incident. The network decided to axe them from the reality show. Max Boyens and Brett Caprioni also suffered the same fate.
“Bravo and Evolution Media confirmed today that Stassi Schroeder, Kristen Doute, Max Boyens and Brett Caprioni will not be returning to ‘Vanderpump Rules,'” a rep told Page Six on Tuesday (June 9).
Prior to Bravo’s announcement, several sponsors also ended their deals with Schroeder. Shaving brand Billie announced that it is “ending all partnerships with anyone who isn’t supporting the fight against racism, including Stassi.”
Vitamin company Ritual also did the same. According to them, they were not aware of what Schroeder did and her behavior was “unacceptable.”
Stowers shared the incident in an IGTV interview with MTV’s “Floribama Shore” star Candace Rice. She recalled how the former best friends put her in a difficult situation.
“There was this article on Daily Mail where there was an African American lady. It was a weird photo, so she looked very light-skinned and had these different, weird tattoos. They showcased her, and I guess this woman was robbing people,” Stowers recalled.
“And they called the cops and said it was me. This is like, a true story. I heard this from actually Stassi in an interview.”
Both Schroeder and Doute apologized to Stowers.
Meanwhile, Caprioni and Boyens were fired due to their racist tweets. Boyens said in an old tweet that he was upset that the word “n—a” is not allowed to be said unless one is black adding that it’s “my favorite word.” Meanwhile, Caprioni showed remorse for using racial slurs.
In related news, Hartley Sawyer was also fired from The CW’s superhero TV series “The Flash” due to his racist and misogynist tweets. The actor issued a lengthy apology on Instagram and deleted his Twitter account.
