‘Suits’ Star Gina Torres To Appear In ‘Claws’ Season 1, Episode 4 [SPOILERS]

Gina Torres is guest starring in Season 1, episode 4 of “Claws.”

As revealed in the trailer for the episode, Torres — who portrays Jessica Pearson on USA Network’s legal drama “Suits” — will play the role of Sally on TNT’s new crime dramedy. According to the synopsis for the installment, Sally is Polly’s (Carrie Preston) “former gold-digging ‘friend.’” In the preview clip, Sally enters Desna’s (Niecy Nash) nail salon and is surprised to see Polly as one of the manicurists. While Sally is clearly thrilled to see Polly again, the same can’t be said for the latter.

Meanwhile, haunted by recent events with her late lover Roller (Jack Kesy), Desna becomes even more desperate to get out from Uncle Daddy’s (Dean Norris) control. As seen in the trailer, Desna tells Bryce (Kevin Rankin) and Dr. Ken (Jason Antoon) that they need to work double time to get Uncle Daddy’s trust back following the burglary at the clinic.

In Season 1, episode 3, Uncle Daddy offered Bryce $10,000 to take over Roller’s place at the clinic for just one week. Worried that her husband might screw up, Jen (Jenn Lyon) asked Desna to train Bryce on how to run the clinic. Although initially unwilling, Desna eventually agreed after Jen reminded her of the time she snuck her into a New Edition concert back in the day.

The next day, while Desna was busy at the salon, things got awry at the clinic. While Bryce was trying to sell his self-help solution to someone waiting to get their dose of illegal oxytocin, someone in the waiting room had a seizure. During the chaos, the delivery guy showed up, and Bryce just let him go right into the storage room so he could go back to the waiting room to help Dr. Ken attend to the man who was having a seizure. When things calmed down at the waiting room, Bryce and Kenneth went back to the storage room, only to discover that the delivery guy stole all their oxytocin supplies.

After Uncle Daddy learned about the burglary, he brought in Bryce, Dr. Ken, Desna and Jen to scold them for being too careless. The quartet later found out that they’ve lost $80,000 during the robbery, so every one of them is now on the hook until that money is paid back. At the end of the episode, however, it was revealed that Uncle Daddy was the one behind the theft.

Elsewhere in the next episode, Dr. Ken finds himself in a world of trouble, and Quiet Ann (Judy Reyes) gets into a lady-mess of her own.
