A teen was critical and her baby was killed after her boyfriend decided to help her deliver secretly with the help of YouTube videos. The incident took place in the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu on Wednesday.

The 19-year-old woman and her 27-year-old boyfriend were neighbors. On Wednesday, the eight months pregnant teen informed her boyfriend that her labor pain had started. The man immediately rushed this girlfriend to a nearby farm. He then purchased surgical gloves and blades and started watching YouTube videos. When the man attempted to deliver the baby, he panicked when he saw that the baby’s hand appeared first, unlike the YouTube videos in which the head appeared first.

While trying to pull the child out, he ended up pulling the baby’s hand off. The man then rushed the woman to the hospital after noticing that she was bleeding heavily. The woman underwent a surgery and doctors removed a stillborn baby.

The teen was in a critical condition after losing a lot of blood. Meanwhile, her boyfriend was taken into custody and charged with murder. Investigation was ongoing and police were interrogating the family members of the girl.
