Tiger Woods And Lindsey Vonn First Red Carpet Appearance At Met Gala: Keep It Simple With White-And-Black Attire [PHOTO]

Tiger Woods and girlfriend Lindsey Vonn made their first red carpet appearance together since announcing their relationship in March.

The new couple attended the Met Gala on Monday night benefiting the Costume Institute of the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Though the theme was punk, both Woods and Vonn played it safe fashion-wise. Woods opted for a classic black and white tuxedo, while the world famous alpine skier wore a white gown with sheer designs.

The pro golfer confirmed his relationship with Vonn on Facebook in March.

"This season has been great so far and I'm happy with my wins at Torrey and Doral. Something nice that's happened off the course was meeting Lindsey Vonn,” Woods states.

“Lindsey and I have been friends for some time, but over the last few months we have become very close and are now dating. We thank you for your support and for respecting our privacy. We want to continue our relationship, privately, as an ordinary couple and continue to compete as athletes,” he continued.

Woods was previously married to model Elin Nordegren. They divorced in 2010 after Woods admitted to cheating on her with numerous women.

Vonn separated from her husband and former coach, Thomas Vonn, in 2011. The divorce was finalized this year.
