The Truth About Caitlyn Jenner, Kanye West’s Relationship Amid Kardashian Family Feud

Kim Kardashian may be feuding with Caitlyn Jenner, but it hasn’t stopped her husband, Kanye West, from remaining friendly with the “I Am Cait” star. Earlier this week, the “Ye” artist shared a private text conversation between himself and his wife’s estranged stepfather on Twitter.

Jenner’s relationship with the Kardashians began to fall apart when the three eldest siblings, Kim, Kourtney and Khloe, accused the 68-year-old of harshly criticizing her marriage to their mother, Kris Jenner, in the press.

Despite Jenner and the Kardashian family’s ongoing feud, West revealed he has an open line of communication with “The Secrets of My Life” author. The “Yikes” rapper posted a screenshot of a text message which featured Jenner praising the designer’s collection.

In the message, the former “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star sent West a picture of her friend, Sophia Hutchins, wearing items from the popular Yeezy line. “Sophia loved the first set of looks your team left and went all yeezy for her travel outfit today! We love your looks!!” Jenner wrote.

“Thanks again,” she added.

“So awesome. Your [sic] welcome,” West replied.

Jenner’s relationship with the famous brood continues to remain strained despite occasionally being spotted together at the same events. West’s casual conversation with the star comes a few weeks after the family came together to celebrate Kylie Jenner’s 21st birthday.

A source told People the former athlete and her ex-wife only communicate when they are supporting their two daughters. “Kris and Caitlyn interact when they have to for the kids,” the insider explained.

“It’s important for Kylie and Kendall. They can be cordial, but like most exes, they’re never going to be best friends.”

In 2015, Jenner credited West for helping Kardashian understand and accept her transition. At the time, the star revealed since the KKW Beauty owner’s conversation with her husband, she was the easiest person to talk to about her process.

Jenner’s feud with her ex-wife and the Kardashians has remained pretty tense, but the tiff appears to have had no effect on her bond with West.
