‘Vampire Diaries’ Season 6 Spoilers: Episode 20 Synopsis Released; What Will Happen In 'I’d Leave My Happy Home For You'? [PHOTOS & VIDEO]

The cure for vampirism won’t be an easy solution to everyone’s problems. It seems Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Elena (Nina Dobrev) will take some time to consider the options before taking the cure in “The Vampire Diaries” Season 6, episode 20. According to the synopsis for "I’d Leave My Happy Home For You," the two might even change their minds about becoming humans.

After Damon’s offer to take the cure with her, Elena will be more confused that ever. She’ll go to Jo (Jodi Lyn O’Keefe) and Bonnie (Kat Graham) for advice. The younger witch gave Damon the cure to begin with, but she might not want Elena to take it. Elena will be “left conflicted when Bonnie raises some unanticipated concerns,” the episode's synopsis teases. She might point out that Elena was never in love with Damon as a human. Elena will have to figure out if she is willing to risk the love of her life for another shot at being a mortal.

Meanwhile, Stefan (Paul Wesley) will focus on his mother Lily (Annie Wersching), who fell off the wagon last week. It seems she is a ripper again, and even Enzo (Michael Malarkey) knows that she is too much for him to handle. He’ll go to Stefan to ask him “to help intervene before it's too late,” the synopsis warns. Will Stefan be able to stop his mother from going on a killing spree?

In the midst of murderous vampires and Damon and Elena’s drama, Alaric (Matt Davis) and Jo are going to attempt to have normal bachelor and bachelorette parties. However, Alaric’s night will take a serious turn when he “considers a life-changing piece of advice.”

Elsewhere, Matt (Zach Roerig) will continue to make his anti-supernatural feelings known. However, Tyler (Michael Trevino) might not let him speak against their friends so easily. Matt “takes his frustrations out on Tyler,” the synopsis reveals, but will the former werewolf just let Matt push him around? Tyler tends to fight back when provoked. Will Matt push him a little too far?
