Tom Schwartz and Raquel Leviss are just friends, but they have gotten closer after their respective split from their former partners, according to a report.
Schwartz, 40, and Leviss, 28, were rumored to have hooked up at their "Vanderpump Rules" co-stars and friends Scheana Shay and Brock Davies' wedding. But the Bravo personalities are not an item.
"They're just friends but have certainly gotten much closer since Tom and Katie [Maloney] split," an anonymous insider told Us Weekly. "They have a great connection, and the chemistry is there."
The tipster added, "Since the hookup happened, they kind of went their separate ways and just hang out together with friends. They're both keeping their options open."
Schwartz and Leviss' rumored budding romance had been a topic at the Bravo ComicCon 2022. Leviss, who called off her engagement to James Kennedy late last year, did not deny her flirty connection with Katie Maloney's ex-husband.
"I think he's cute. I feel like we have a little flirty, friendly connection that's lighthearted and fun," Leviss told Page Six at the event. "He's a very sweet guy, obviously, and easy to talk to," she added. "It's just very nice to have a friend in my corner."
However, she said that while they were getting closer, she couldn't really see the possibilities that they would date in the future. According to Leviss, she was still "exploring the single life and having fun with that."
Meanwhile, Schwartz admitted he was embarrassed when Kennedy accused him of making out with Leviss live onstage. Leviss' ex-fiance claimed that Schwartz and Peter Madrigal kissed her during BravoCon's "Watch What Happens Live: Charming House Rules" taping.
Schwartz blushed and raised his hand to cover his face in response to what Kennedy said.
"I kind of just put my head down and clicked my heels together and was hoping I could disappear," Schwartz told Page Six while at Soho House's Patrón Tequila Pit Stop event in Austin, Texas.
"I just rode it out, and you'll see how it plays out this season," Schwartz added. "There's a build-up to it, and there's a lot of fallout afterward. I'm still processing it."
In a previous interview with Page Six at the BravoCon, he said it was an "absolute pleasure to get to know Leviss on a deeper level." But he couldn't see them dating.
"I have a great admiration for her, and we're tight, we're friends, we're boys," he said.
