‘A Very Merry Bridesmaid’ Hallmark Movie Premiere: Cast, Trailer, Synopsis
Hallmark Channel’s very merry holiday season continues with the newest “Countdown to Christmas” holiday premiere, “A Very Merry Bridesmaid.” The film, which stars Emily Osment and Casey Deidrick, premieres Saturday night.
The film will be a treat for Hallmark fans, as it will not only be introducing them to a new face on the network but also bring one back for another film. Deidrick has never starred in a Hallmark film before, though some may know him for his time as Chad DiMera on “Days of Our Lives” or for his more recent role as Max Parish on “In the Dark.”
As for Osment, she previously starred in the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries film “Christmas Wonderland.” Fans may also recognize her for the roles of Lilly Truscott on “Hannah Montana” and Gabi Diamond on “Young & Hungry.” Other roles have also included Roxy on “Almost Family,” Theresa on “The Kominsky Method” and Chelsea on “Pretty Smart.”
What can fans expect from this festive film? Let’s find out.
“Leah’s (Osment) 30th birthday is Christmas Eve but this milestone takes a back seat when her future sister-in-law claims Christmas Eve for the wedding and asks Leah to be one of the many bridesmaids,” a synopsis reads. “But the return of Leah’s childhood crush Drew (Deidrick) may be exactly what she needs to push her to the forefront of the overlapping festivities and determine a new direction in her life.”
“A Very Merry Bridesmaid” airs Saturday at 8 p.m. EST on Hallmark Channel.
