[Watch] Kristen Bell's Daughters Leave Notes Around The House: 'Don't' Touch My Things'
Kristen Bell is used to seeing a lot of notes around the house from her daughters warning her not to touch their things.
In the latest episode of "The Kelly Clarkson Show" on Thursday, Bell disclosed that her daughters — Lincoln, 8, and Delta, 6, sometimes leave notes with "I love you" on them but oftentimes, they contain warning messages.
"Is it true that your 6-year-old leaves you nasty notes around the house?" Clarkson asked Bell on the show. "Yeah, sure," the mom of two said quickly.
The host said her 7-year-old son leaves her cute notes with hearts but "The Good Place" actress' children are different.
"Sometimes, she will do that. Sometimes it'll be like an 'I love you,' but most times, it's about what stuff is hers and what not to touch," the 41-year-old mom said about her youngest daughter, Delta.
A sample of a note from Delta flashed on the screen at the moment that read, "Don't disturb, Delta is starving to death. Only Mom can come in."
"This was over an ice cream trip that I was like, 'No, it's 7 o'clock the evening, we're not going to get ice cream right now.' And then she decides, she was like, 'Well, I'm just going to starve myself to death,'" Bell explained. "I think Dad had said, 'No, we're not going to ice cream,' which is why I was allowed in."
Bell revealed that Delta is over-protective of her "candy stash" because she is "candy-obsessed."
"She keeps them, by the way, in the pots and pans... when I go to make noodles or something, it's just full of Ring Pops," the actress said before she read another note from Delta. "This one says Delta's cookie, don't touch…but look at the size of the cookie there is one bite left and she felt so strongly that if someone touch that bite so she used, a full ziplock to write this note. I'm like 'you better wash it out after you're done with that cookie and reuse it.'"
But Delta is not the only one who is setting boundaries for herself at such a young age.
"There's a lot of notes in the fridge from my kids about what I can and cannot touch. I'm raising very strong women," Bell told Clarkson, who found them "pretty cool and hilarious."
