When Will ‘Jane The Virgin’ Season 4 Filming Start? Gina Rodriguez Updates Fans
It will still be a few more weeks before “Jane the Virgin” Season 3 returns to The CW, but how many more episodes are left and when will Season 4 start?
There are typically 22 episodes per season, but it seems like there will only be 20 for Season 3, according to Next Episode. Due to this, fans only have five more episodes left to watch out for.

At the same time, Gina Rodriguez, the actress who plays Jane Gloriana Villanueva in the show, posted a photo on Instagram with a caption that reveals how long they have to work for the upcoming episodes. She also shared when they are going to start filming for Season 4 episodes.
“Jane the Virgin” executive producer Jennie Snyder Urman earlier told Deadline that Jane will have a couple of suitors in the upcoming episodes, and it’s going to be a lot of fun watching her sort things out romantically.
“There is a lot of light and joy that are coming back. There are love interests, but it’s all, ‘how does she move on from all of this?'” Urman explained. “At this point in the story there is no life without Mateo, Jane is a mom, she can’t imagine her life without him. For this character who is such a planner, these curveballs are really important to keep her growing and changing and moving and keep the storytelling not stale.”
One of these suitors is probably going to be the character played by “Teen Wolf” star Tyler Posey. Posey will play someone from Jane’s past, and he will have a recurring role next season.
“Jane the Virgin” Season 3 will return on Monday, April 24 at 9 p.m. EDT on The CW.
