Who Is The Next ‘Bachelor’ 2015? Chris Harrison Teases Answer During ‘The Bachelorette: After The Final Rose’ Special
Fans of “The Bachelorette” finally found out if Andi Dorfman got her happy ending, but they still want more answers – like who the 2015 star of “The Bachelor” will be.
During the live taping with host Chris Harrison, “Bachelor In Paradise” contestant Michelle Money asked when ABC would be announcing who the new “Bachelor” is. The audience immediately started chanting “Chris,” in reference to Chris Soules, the 32-year-old Iowa farmer who was eliminated by Andi during the “Fantasy Suite” dates in Season 10 of “The Bachelorette.” But instead of Chris Harrison announcing Chris Soules as the next “Bachelor,” he instead stated the following:
“The new ‘Bachelor’ is going to be named later.”
Chris Soules was smirking the whole time, and Chris Harrison made sure to hit him on the back before cutting to commercial. But unfortunately fans of ABC’s reality show will have to continue waiting to find out if Andi’s eliminated contestant will be the next “Bachelor” … because the “After The Final Rose” special concluded without the big announcement.
There are many reasons why Chris Harrison and ABC decided not to reveal the next “Bachelor” for 2015. One potential reason could be that the network is trying to push their new spinoff, “Bachelor In Paradise.” The show is set to premiere on Monday, August 4, and give “Bachelor” and “Bachelorette” rejects a second chance at love. It’s possible that the star of “The Bachelor” 2015 could be announced following the finale of “Bachelor In Paradise.”
Another theory is that the network is still uncertain who they want to cast after the fiasco last season that was Juan Pablo Galavis. As we previously reported, the network is supposedly interested in Chris Soules, but is also considering Arie Luyendyk Jr., the runner-up from Emily Maynard’s season of “The Bachelorette.”
