Meet Reginae Carter, Lil’ Wayne’s teenage daughter and the new breakout star of MTV’s hit show “My Super Sweet 16.” When MTV got bored filming regular old rich kids, they turned to the celebrity elite. Most recently, Reginae was featured on the coming of age series and some thought she should get her own show.

Lil’ Wayne pulled out all the stops for his little girl. There was a performance by rapper superstar Nicki Minaj, he gave her a Ferrari and a BMW, Reginae had several outfit changes, celebrity guests like T.I. and Tiny were in attendance, and for those who couldn’t make it, like the Game and Ludacris, Reginae got a video shout out.

“Thank you to all my friends and family who showed up and showed out at my party,” she wrote on her verified Twitter account in November. “I love you guys IM 16!!!”

Viewers got to discover some interesting facts about Reginae, like her godfather is Birdman and she calls him “Parrain”-- which means godfather in French. "He gives me whatever I want," she said, according to Billboard. The statement appears to be true, especially since he purchased her diamond earrings and a Rolex watch that add up to $16,000.

Being the daughter of a celebrity certainly comes with its perks and one of them is being able to date other rappers’ kids. Reginae and Jadarius Jenkins, the son of Young Jeezy, used to be a twosome. "We were about to start really being on our Jay Z and Beyoncé stuff, but it just didn't work out like that,” she said.

Viewers also got to see a softer side of Lil’ Wayne. When Reginae told her father, "Daddy, you FaceTime like an old man. Why are you so close to the camera?" He responded, "I don't know. I'm not trying to be."

At the time of her 16th birthday, the rapper sent his daughter a special birthday tweet. “Happy birthday to my angel, my princess, my pride and joy Reginae Carter! 16 years of being a reminder of how beautiful life can truly b.”

Reginae seems to be pleased with the recent attention she’s received. The teen shared mentions that included information about her show, and then thanked viewers for tuning in. “Thank you guys so much for watching my show tonight I really appreciate you guys I hope you guys enjoyed it,” she wrote.
