Why This Celebrity Insists Vicki Gunvalson Quit 'Real Housewives Of Orange County'
Wendy Williams had some words for "The Real Housewives of Orange County" star Vicki Gunvalson.
During the Hot Topics sections of "The Wendy Williams Show" on Wednesday, Nov. 20, the host did what she does best and dished her opinion on Vicki being demoted to friend for Season 14 of the Bravo reality show.
"Well Vic, you know I love you, but you used to hold an orange, now you are relegated to being friend of the show. At that particular point, I'm surprised that you the OG of all the franchises, you started this, meaning the queen," Wendy said. "I’m shocked that you even let them demote you."
"I’d quit," the talk show host continued. "'Hell no! I’m the president of this company right now and you’re giving me a cubicle and telling me I’m a salesperson? I’m out!'"
Williams isn't the only one who feels that Vicki should throw in the towel on "RHOC." The OG of The OC herself echoed that same sentiment while at Bravocon in New York City on Nov. 16.
"First of all, when they told me I was going to have a reduced role, I said, 'I'm never a Friend. I started this franchise. I'm never going to be a Friend.' They said, 'We'll never use those words.' And they've been using those words," Vicki revealed.
"I will never come back part-time," she added. "I'm either all in or all out. I'm not a part-time girl."
The 57-year-old has been a part of the main cast of "RHOC" since it started in 2006. It wasn't until this most recent season that she was bumped from the main roster and newbie Braunwyn Windham-Burke was introduced to viewers.
As for what Season 15 holds for Vicki, if anything at all, we will have to wait and see.
"The Real Housewives of Orange County" airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
