Tonight, “The Fix” fans will be saying goodbye to more than just Season 1 of the show, they’ll be saying goodbye to the show forever.

ABC made the decision to cancel the crime drama earlier this month, despite the fact that new episodes were still airing. This means Monday’s Season 1 finale will double as the series finale.

The show’s been averaging a 0.48 rating in the 18-49 demo, according to TV Series Finale, which makes it the second lowest-rated ABC scripted show of the season — only above the already-renewed “Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD.” The show’s doing a bit better in average weekly viewers, coming in at 16 out of 22 ABC scripted shows, with 3.113 million.

Sadly for fans, that wasn’t enough for ABC to renew “The Fix” for Season 2.

At least the Season 1 finale (episode 10) synopsis promises “all questions will be answered as a conviction is made in the murder of Jessica Meyer [Taylor Kalupa],” and co-showrunners Elizabeth Craft and Sarah Fain revealed to TVLine that “someone does end up in jail.”

Before fans think that means all of the show’s loose ends will be perfectly wrapped up, the showrunners also posed a question about the new jailee: “Is it the right person?”

Unfortunately, because there won’t be another season, fans may never know.

Titled “Making a Murderer,” tonight’s episode was directed by Michael Katleman and written by Marcia Clark, with a teleplay by Elizabeth Craft and Sarah Fain.

“The Fix” cast includes Robin Tunney (Maya Travis), Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Severen “Sevvy” Johnson), Scott Cohen (Ezra Wolf), Adam Rayner (Matthew Collier), Merrin Dungey (CJ Emerson), Breckin Meyer (Alan Wiest), Marc Blucas (River “Riv” Allgood), Mouzam Makkar (Loni Kampoor) and Alex Saxon (Gabe Johnson).

See the Season 1 (and series) finale of “The Fix” on Monday on ABC at 10:01 p.m. EDT.
