The newest batch of Hallmark movies continues to be ushered in on the network, with the premiere of “A Winter Getaway,” starring Brooks Darnell and Nazneen Contractor.

Fans will be in for a treat with the film, as they may be somewhat familiar with both Darnell and Contractor. Darnell previously held a role in the Hallmark Channel film “All Yours” and starred in Hallmark Movies & Mysteries’ “A Christmas Miracle,” but has also had roles in Lifetime’s “Let’s Meet Again On Christmas Eve,” and starred as Dr. Nate Hastings on “The Young and the Restless” and Charlie on “Shadowhunters.”

As for Contractor, she starred in Hallmark Movies & Mysteries’ “The Christmas Ring,” in 2020, but has no other credits with the family of networks. Other roles have been as Synara San on “Star Wars Resistance,” Zara Hallam on “Ransom” and Farah Nazan on “Heroes Reborn.”

So what will happen when these two star in their first film together?

“Joe (Darnell) is an average guy whose wealthy friend gifts him a luxury winter getaway, complete with private jet, once-in-a-lifetime experiences and concierge service,” a synopsis reads. “Courtney (Contractor) is the concierge providing Joe consummate hospitality during his stay. As she assists Joe during his vacation and they spend more time together feelings begin to develop between them.”

However, Courtney is also under the impression that Joe is a different person completely, which could put a crimp in their ability to be together—as does the fact that Joe will have to go home.

“But when the fantasy trip is over will Courtney and Joe’s budding romance also come to an end or will they travel down the path of love together?” the synopsis asks.

“A Winter Getaway” airs Saturday, Jan. 23 at 9 p.m. EST on Hallmark Channel.
