Young Jennifer Garner In '13 Going On 30' Movie Is Now 30 [Watch]

Christa B. Allen, who played as the young Jennifer Garner in the 2004 movie "13 Going on 30," just celebrated her 30th birthday.

Allen commemorated the event by sharing a five-part video series on TikTok titled "Vienna" in the run-up to her special day. She touched on themes from the film, dropping one video each day before her birthday. But in the clips, she's no longer the young Jenna Rink. Instead, she portrays the character played by Garner because she's already 30.

In the first clip, someone walks her home from a date and when she gets inside her house, she finds the 13-year-old version of herself. In the second video, she speaks with the younger version of herself, who says, "I wanna be 30, flirty and thriving." The younger version of Allen then gives her some words of wisdom.

"Look, not everything's gonna magically fall into place the second you turn 30," the younger Allen says in the video.

The present version of Allen asks when it would happen and she's told by her younger self, "When you meet the love of your life."

When she asks who's the love of her life, her younger self says, "You. You complete you."

She used the hashtag #thirtyflirtyandthriving and many of her followers were entertained by the clips based on their comments.

"Brilliant, thirty and flirty and thriving. [You] are so stunning it's ridiculous," one commented.

"Oh my gosh, you're gonna be 30 and thriving," another added.

"Loving this series, thank you for doing this turning 35 in a few months and the feeling of being a failure not having it all together is overwhelming," another user wrote.

The video series ends with Allen blowing the candle on her birthday cake. But before blowing the candle, she asks for more words of wisdom from her younger self, who tells her, "Less doing, more being." In addition, her younger self encouraged her to "invest in crypto." After blowing her birthday candle, Allen finds herself alone in the final clip.

She confirmed on Twitter Tuesday that her videos were "a response" to the 2004 movie that stars Garner, Mark Ruffalo and Judy Greer, to name a few.

"When I started my TikTok journey 2 years ago, I had no idea how much people would love '13 Going on 30' content," she tweeted. "After several videos went viral, fans were asking for a sequel by the hundreds. This short series 'Vienna' is less of a sequel, more of a response- I hope you love it!"
