'Young And The Restless' Spoilers: Will Christine Sway The Case Against The Newmans?
Christine is hoping for a conviction at the end of the trial against Nikki, Victoria and Sharon, and she will get one step closer to her goal of locking the Newman women up after a big win in court on the Wednesday, March 6 episode of ‘The Young and the Restless.”
Christine (Lauralee Bell) will do whatever it takes to make sure Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Sharon (Sharon Case) go down for JT’s (Thad Luckinbill) murder and the nearly yearlong cover-up on the CBS soap, and as a result she has pulled out all the stops during their trial. After introducing the incriminating video during Mariah’s (Camryn Grimes) testimony and successfully twisting Phyllis’ (Gina Tognoni) words around, she seems well on her way to a conviction. However, she won’t stop there, as Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) is forced to take the stand.
Though Michael (Christian Leblanc) will be the one to call her to the stand and will quickly expose how she blackmailed the women without proof a crime had happened, Christine will know she needs to find a way to turn this back around in her favor. Once again she will seek Phyllis out for information and will learn more about the blackmail scheme, using it to her advantage when court resumes.
“Christine gets a big win in court,” spoilers reveal.
When she cross-examines Tessa, she will likely use the information about blackmail to slowly chip away at her and figure out a way to prove the women went to extremes when it came to trying to protect their secret. As a result, she will get her to crack, and Tessa will reveal how the women kidnapped her and threatened her when they learned she was blackmailing them. Now, with that bombshell out there, the case against the three seems tighter than ever, and their chances of acquittal are looking more and more bleak by the day.
“The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EST on CBS.
