Zayn Malik Talks Intimate Relationship With Gigi Hadid, Reveals Their Nicknames

Zayn Malik is definitely over Perrie Edwards. The former One Direction member recently shared juicy details about his relationship with girlfriend Gigi Hadid.

Malik sat down for an interview with The Sunday Times Style magazine, where he talked about the struggles he encountered after leaving One Direction. He also shared intimate details about his romance with the Victoria's Secret supermodel.

Malik and Hadid started dating in 2015 after his split with Edwards. The couple played out their love affair in fashion magazine shoots and even filmed a sexy video for “Pillowtalk.”

Edwards’ ex-fiancé is very much in love with his current girlfriend. Malik told the publication that he recently flew to Paris to surprise Hadid. His plans were busted when his phone number was changed to European on her phone, but she played along.

“She didn’t know I was coming,” said Malik, who knocked on her door and pretended to be a room service. “But my number had changed to European on her phone, so it wasn’t much of a surprise in the end. She played along with it, though.”

The former 1D singer revealed that Hadid has been living with him in his Bel Air residence since last year. But he has not yet taken his girlfriend to his hometown of Bradford. However, she has already met his family in London a few times.

He also shared some of the ways they express affection for each other. “I call her Gee, she calls me Zee,” Malik said about their endearments for each other. “There’s some other nicknames too, but I’ll keep those private.”

Last year, Malik and Hadid endured a brief split. According to an insider, Hadid caught her boyfriend lying, and she couldn't take the mystery so she decided to dump him.

However, Malik was reportedly determined to win her back. Malik “kept incessantly apologizing and wanted another chance,” the source told People. Hadid then decided to accept his apology and take him back because he was determined to prove himself to her.

The model seems to have fully forgiven Malik. Last week, Hadid shared a photo of Malik shooting for Versus Versace on her Instagram. She captioned the photo with, “My man by me for @versus_versace SS17 !!”
