Brad Pitt was photographed exiting a medical center in Los Angeles in a wheelchair Wednesday following a reported dental procedure.

In photos published by Page Six, the "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" star, who wore a black hoodie, gray and white sneakers, was rolled out of the Beverly Hills medical facility by a doctor and was accompanied by a bodyguard. Pitt reportedly checked in to visit a dentist.

The actor's face was hidden by a mask and pair of sunglasses. However, Page Six identified the man in the photo as Pitt.

The outlet suggested that Pitt was confined to the wheelchair per hospitals' longstanding policy to avoid liability should a patient injure themselves while exiting the facility. Page Six further suggested that Pitt may have had a dental cleaning in preparation for his role as a presenter at the Academy Awards on April 25 along with Harrison Ford, Halle Berry and Reese Witherspoon.

Meanwhile, Pitt's legal battle with ex Angelina Jolie is still ongoing. Last month, it was reported that Jolie accused her ex-husband of domestic violence and claimed she has "proof" in a new court filing.

Pitt was reportedly "heartbroken" after the "Maleficent" star filed new documents indicating that she and their children were willing to offer "proof and authority in support" of her abuse allegations against him.

"Brad is heartbroken that Angelina has gone that route. There’s a lot of emotion left after their marriage," an unnamed source close to Pitt told Page Six. "He has taken responsibility for his actions and owned up to his past issues, he’s stopped drinking."

Pitt also felt Jolie's camp is attempting to manipulate the situation ahead of the judge's verdict, the Page Six insider claimed.

"Brad and his camp has never attacked Angelina. But his camp feels this leak was calculated to sway opinion ahead of the conclusion of their trial," the source said. "Brad feels like he’s being more and more isolated from his children, and he’s devastated about it."

Their eldest son, Maddox, has already testified against Pitt in the exes' custody battle, Us Weekly earlier reported. The 19-year-old's statement was not "very flattering toward Brad," the source said.
