‘Christmas On The Vine’ Lifetime Movie Premiere: Trailer, Synopsis, Cast
“It’s A Wonderful Lifetime 2020” programming is set to continue with the premiere of the newest holiday film, “Christmas On the Vine.” The movie, starring Julianna Guill and Jon Corr, premieres Friday.
Lifetime fans may recognize Guill, who starred in the network’s 2019 holiday film “Grounded for Christmas, though she may also be known for earlier roles. Those include the movie “Crazy, Stupid, Love” and her roles as Becca Riley on “Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce” and Jessie Nevin on “The Resident.”
As for Cor, he is new to Lifetime, but not holiday movies. He starred in Hallmark’s “Picture A Perfect Christmas” in 2019, and also had a role in the 2018 film “Love On Safari.” He could also be recognized for his work as Hodge Tarkwether in “Shadowhunters.”
So what will happen when these two team up? According to a synopsis, fans can look forward to plenty of wine, but also some holiday romance as well.
“Brooke (Guill), a young marketing executive, goes back to her hometown excited to relive her Christmas memories, while helping a struggling family-owned winery,” the synopsis reads. “Her marketing assignment involves an unlikely partnership with Tyler (Cor), the charismatic, yet stubborn owner of the winery.”
As Brooke learns about what has been going on in her hometown since she left, she will quickly become determined to make the situation better—not just to help her family and friends regain their Christmas spirit, but to also help Tyler, whom she starts to get feelings for.
“Brooke quickly learns that the town’s Christmas spirit has disappeared due to a wine conglomerate buying out all of the local wineries,” the synopsis continues. “Determined to bring Christmas back to the town, Brooke and Tyler work together and discover they share more than a love for wine.”
Meredith Baxter (“Becoming Santa”) also stars.
“Christmas on the Vine” premieres Friday, Nov. 13 at 8 p.m. EST on Lifetime.
