The incident took place Tuesday in India's northeastern state of Assam.

The woman, who lived in the eastern Indian state of Odisha, had no prior travel history to a foreign country.

The man has been identified as Brahmadev Mandal, a resident of Orai village in Bihar, India.

Rescue officials are still searching for the boy; however, witnesses at the scene believe the boy was swept away into the river.

The canines let the little girl go only when a good Samaritan arrived at the scene and chased them away.

A senior police officer told the media at least five such cases were registered in one year.  

"I was not afraid at all…I liked it. It was fun," the woman said after the ride.

The video has gained over 47,000 views on Twitter and 23,000 on YouTube. 

The girls were taken detained after they surrendered. Their mother was also arrested and is currently facing charges in connection with the incident.

The people living in the area said the snake measured about six-feet in length.

The video shows the leopard jumping over the iron gate of the house and taking away the pet dog. Many Twitter users debated whether it was right to leave a pet out of the house at night.
