Courteney Cox and Ed Sheeran have hilariously recreated the dance routine she and "Friends" co-star David Schwimmer performed as Monica and Ross, respectively, on the sitcom.

On Sunday, Cox shared on Instagram a video of her and the British singer performing the Geller siblings' iconic dance routine that appeared in Season 6 of "Friends." "Just some routine dancing with a friend," Cox wrote in the caption.

The pair appeared to be perfectly in sync but failed in the last part where Ross lifted Monica and posed for the finale. The clip ended with the "Thinking Out Loud" singer and Cox falling over and laughing.

Sheeran posted the video to his own account, writing, "Had a reunion of our own this weekend," along with the hashtag "#obviouslybetterthanross."

Cox and Schwimmer originally performed the dance in the "Friends" episode titled "The One with the Routine," which featured Monica and Ross resurrecting their high school dance routine for a chance to be featured on Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve as they ring in the year 2000.

The video has gone viral, garnering over 12 million views in less than 12 hours. Fans and fellow celebrities gushed over Cox and Sheeran's recreation in the comments section of their posts.

"This gives me another reason to live," Matt Cutshall commented. "This is ICONIC!!!" another follower added.

"Did you just break the internet?!?!" Jennifer Meyer wrote, as Kaley Cuoco commented, "This is EPIC."

"Brilliant," Vicky Pattison commented.

Some said they hoped Cox will also perform the routine with her onscreen brother once more.

"Ross can never be replaced," one commented with a laughing emoji.

"Courteney when you and David are going to record The Routine for us ??? YOU'RE THE BEST," another wrote with a laughing and heart emoji.

Cox and Schwimmer joined co-stars Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc and Matthew Perry for "Friends: The Reunion," which premiered on HBO Max Thursday.

"I was flooded with 10 years of irreplaceable memories," Cox told People ahead of the reunion special's premiere.

The special featured cameos from several guest stars including Reese Witherspoon and Tom Selleck, but fans noticed that two were noticeably absent: Paul Rudd and Cole Sprouse. Rudd played Phoebe's (Kudrow) husband Mike, while Sprouse was Ross' (Schwimmer) son Ben on the show.

"Well, we couldn't have everybody on, because it's only an hour and 45 minutes. And you've got to pay attention — the main nub of the show has got to be about the six cast members," director Ben Winston explained.
