When fans tune into "General Hospital" on Veterans Day, they can expect to see a new episode of the ABC daytime series. Although the network has shown special episodes or encore presentations for past federal holidays, the holiday on Friday won't interfere with the show's schedule.

"GH" fans who watch the Friday episode of the soap opera will be treated to plenty of dramatic storylines featuring some of their favorite characters.

"General Hospital" spoilers suggest Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) receives a new visitor. Spencer has been serving his time at Pentonville with few visitors from the outside world.

However, it appears he will receive an unexpected visit from someone. Viewers are aware that Trina (Tabyana Ali) has been doing her best to forget about Spencer but can't seem to get him off her mind.

Her thoughts about Spencer have even ruined what was supposed to be a special getaway with Rory (​​Michael Blake Kruse), and it appears she will continue to struggle with her conflicting feelings.

Will Trina finally decide to make the trip to see Spencer, or will someone else decide to pay him a visit?

Elsewhere in Port Charles, "GH" spoilers reveal Sonny (Maurice Benard) is summoned to the PCPD.

Earlier in the week, Sonny assisted with Valentin's (James Patrick Stuart) plan to break Anna (Finola Hughes) out of prison.

After the prison transport vehicle crashed and Anna went missing, the police will have some questions.

Will Sonny get called in for helping Anna escape police custody, or will the police require his presence for a different reason?

Other "GH" spoilers tease Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) confides in Austin (Roger Howarth), Anna voices her gratitude, and Trina gets eye-opening information.
