Larsa Pippen spoke about life being too short while paying tribute to her late stepson.

Scottie Pippen, 55, announced the death of his eldest son, Antron, 33, Monday. The 46-year-old responded to the announcement by paying respect to the latter in an Instagram Story.

"Some truths in life are hard to accept," Larsa wrote as quoted by People. "Your memories will never be forgotten! They will always remain with us forever. You are forever in our hearts, we love u and will miss u always Rip Antron."

Later, she made another post on her social media account encouraging her followers to make the most of their lives and value the people around them.

"Life is too short! Make the most of it. You don't know when you're last day is. Value people who love you," she wrote.

Scottie announced the death of his son on Instagram. He shared a series of pictures of them from the time he was a baby up to the latest one they took together and accompanied it with a lengthy caption.

"I’m heartbroken to share that yesterday, I said goodbye to my firstborn son Antron," Scottie wrote. "The two of us shared a love for basketball and we had countless conversations about the game. Antron suffered from chronic asthma and if he hadn’t had it, I truly believe he would've made it to the NBA. He never let that get him down, though—Antron stayed positive and worked hard, and I am so proud of the man that he became."

Scottie also asked his followers to keep Antron's mom, Karen, and all of his family and friends in their thoughts and prayers.

"A kind heart and beautiful soul gone way too soon. I love you, son, rest easy until we meet again," he concluded.

Larsa and Scottie got married in 1997 and split in November 2018, after being together for 21 years. They share four children together — Scotty Jr., Preston, Justin and daughter Sophia.

Following their split, Larsa made it clear that "cheating wasn't the problem." In court documents obtained by People, the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for their split.
