Mariah Carey, Ex Bryan Tanaka Officially Back Together? Rumored Couple Spotted Out On A Date

Mariah Carey and her ex-boyfriend, Bryan Tanaka, may have rekindled their romance.

On Friday, June 3, the 47-year-old Grammy winner was spotted with the 34-year-old professional dancer leaving Mastro’s Steakhouse together. They were reportedly seen by witnesses leaving the venue holding hands. The former “American Idol” judge was wearing a red above-the-knee dress that showed off her cleavage. Tanaka, on the other hand, was wearing a black longsleeve shirt and army green pants.

According to People, Carey and Tanaka ended their relationship in April. A source told the publication at that time that it was the “Hero” singer that called it quits first. “The split happened very recently. Mariah ended it – everyone hoped that she would. She has better things to focus on. Mariah is happy. She is focusing on her kids and new music. Bryan was a good distraction after she split from James. This is a good time for her to be single and focus on herself,” the source said.

TMZ claimed that Carey split from Tanaka because of the latter’s uncontrollable spending habits. The singer’s much younger beau is also rumored to be having issues with Carey and her ex-husband Nick Cannon’s relationship. Carey and Cannon share 6-year-old twins, Monroe and Moroccan. Carey and Cannon split in 2014, but their divorce was only finalized in November of last year. However, the estranged couple have been raising their twins together and are still on good terms with each other.

In May, People reported that there’s hope for Carey and Cannon to get back together. A source said, “Mariah and Nick are getting along great. Nick spends most of his time with Mariah and the kids. Mariah is great with Nick around. There seems to be hope that they will get back together permanently.”

Last month, Carey and Tanaka were also spotted spending time with each other. They were photographed cozying up at a table, and at one point, they also shared a sweet kiss, according to the Daily Mail. Prior to their sighting, Carey also showed signs that she’s interested in getting back together with Tanaka. The singer shared a throwback photo of the two of them via her Instagram account.

As of late, Carey and Tanaka have not yet confirmed the real status of their relationship.
