Meghan Markle ‘Physically Uncomfortable’ With Motherhood Compared To Kate Middleton
Meghan Markle is showing signs of straining on her first public appearance after delivering baby Archie.
On Wednesday, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped out together to introduce their newborn to the world. Patti Wood, a body language expert, compared Markle’s baby debut to her sister-in-law Kate Middleton and the latter appeared more comfortable with motherhood.
Markle “was physically uncomfortable, which was clear through the strain on her face, and her steps, which were very small. There was tension around her ankles and feel,” Wood told Yahoo! Lifestyle.
The expert added that she gives grace to Markle because the former actress was always beautifully groomed and wondrous. So, she wants people to give empathy to the new mom.
In 2013, Middleton stepped out with Prince William to introduce Prince George to the public. According to Wood, she didn’t see any pain on the Duchess of Cambridge but serenity. For her, Middleton was sort of grounded and was very comfortable with the back and forth required in her new role.
Prince William and Middleton weren’t standing as close together and weren’t touching each other as much compared to Prince Harry and Markle. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were also in a much more exposed venue and were more vulnerable, but they didn’t show it.
TalkRADIO host Kait Borsay hoped that Markle would open up about her pregnancy with honesty. According to her, she wants the Duchess of Sussex to be honest to other women and share all the struggles and pains she experienced because that would help them relate to the royal mom.
She also warned Markle that she would have a very rude wake-up call in the future. As of late, her son is an absolute sweetheart and good-natured, but this may change when he grows up.
Although Markle is showing signs of struggles with her new role as a mom, a number of mothers praised her for showing how new moms really looked like after they saw Markle’s post-baby body and her postnatal baby bump is still very visible. According to an expert, moms typically gain 30 to 40 pounds during pregnancy and they only lost the weight of the baby, placenta and some blood after delivery.
