Meghan Markle, Prince Harry Reportedly Booed At This Event; Duchess Blamed

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were booed at a recent event.

On Wednesday, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended the premiere of Cirque du Soleil's Totem in support of Sentebale at the Royal Albert Hall in London. While everything seemed to look fine, a video shared on YouTube suggested otherwise.

The same clip was shared on Twitter and fans reacted to it. A number blamed Markle for the incident.

“It seems that she is not very well liked apparently most of her staff have quit over the way she speaks to them,” Maggie Copeland commented.

The user who shared the clip has the same stance and blamed the pregnant royal, too. “Not a good thing for Harry. He has never experienced being booed until now,” A&E Today wrote.

The same netizen added that Markle has a lot of things to prove because she’s an American. The user also encouraged Markle to behave like a royal, otherwise a lot of booing will follow.

However, several netizens also defended Markle. Ellie G stressed how difficult it is to join the royal family, so the media should give the couple some space to settle their marriage. She insisted that there’s still no proof about Markle being difficult but the press loves to put people down.

Meanwhile, some netizens also questioned the booing because they never heard it. A&E insisted that the booing really happened and Prince Harry even heard it. In fact, Prince Harry was caught looking toward the direction of the noise in the clip.

On the same outing, many noticed that Prince Harry looked gloomy. Prior to the reports about the booing incident, a number of Twitter users already noticed the royal prince’s unhappy disposition despite his sweet gesture to Markle when both held each other’s hands.

One netizen suggested that the duke was bored and unhappy, perhaps because he didn’t like the circus. A different user opined that Prince Harry looked annoyed and asked why he had that facial expression.

In related news, royal expert Duncan Larcombe felt that it’s unlikely for Markle to reconcile with her father, Thomas Markle Sr. The award-winning journalist explained that this is because Prince Harry doesn’t give any chances.
