Miley Cyrus 'Obsessed' With Liam Hemsworth, Using Cody Simpson To Make Him Jealous: Debunked

Miley Cyrus, 26, and Cody Simpson, 22, have been casually dating since the Disney Alum broke up with her Aussie husband, Liam Hemsworth, 29. The new couple has been attracting a lot of attention as they regularly post sweet messages and racy photos on social media lately. Though the two singers look so happy in each other’s arms, rumors have it that Miley is just using Cody to make Liam jealous.

An unnamed source told RadarOnline.com that Miley has been flaunting her relationship with Cody to get Liam’s attention. The same insider claimed that the “Hannah Montana” star is “obsessed” with “The Hunger Games” actor that is why she’s doing everything just to make him feel resentful after their infamous split in August. However, Liam is, allegedly, refusing to take the bait and has been working on moving on from Miley for good.

“This romance with Cody, supposed hospital visit and constant ‘look at me’ behavior is all designed to push Liam’s buttons — and to be fair it’s always worked in the past because he’s a good guy who ultimately loves her,” the anonymous informant told the entertainment news publication. “But now he’s just rolling his eyes and washing his hands of her, even as a friend, which of course is driving Miley nuts,” it went on.

However, Miley Cyrus’ most recent statements suggested otherwise. The girlfriend of Cody Simpson just quashed all the speculations saying that she and Liam Hemsworth are getting back together. In an Instagram live stream, “The Climb” singer subtly revealed that her ex-beau was not a good person.

"I always thought I had to be gay, because I thought all guys were evil, but it's not true,” Miley stated during the live session, per Cosmopolitan UK. “There are good people out there that just happen to have d**ks. I've only ever met one, and he's on this live," she added, referring to Cody who suddenly appeared on the clip.

Meanwhile, Cody Simpson admitted to news.com.au that, initially, he and Miley Cyrus were doubtful about going public since they do not know how their fans will handle and react to their brand new relationship, especially since the singer-actress just broke up with Kaitlynn Carter, 31, and Liam. Cody and Miley, in the end, just decided to let the public know about it and just be proud of each other. The “Masked Singer” champ also told the news outlet that he understands the public's interest in his and Miley’s romance.
