Prince Charles Had An Affair With Barbra Streisand, Royal Author Reveals

Prince Charles and Barbra Streisand had an affair.

According to Christoper Andersen, best-selling author of “Game of Crowns: Elizabeth, Camilla, Kate and the Throne,” the Prince of Wales had an "immense crush" on the singer. When Prince Charles was still at Cambridge University, the royal even kept a pin-up poster of Streisand on the wall of his room.

Prince Charles’ admiration for Streisand didn’t stop there. He also visited the set of "Funny Girl" movie and spent 20 minutes with the star. However, it was only after two decades when their first tryst began.

“Flash forward 20 years, he's back in Los Angeles and they had a secret rendezvous at the Bel Air Hotel that no one knows about," Andersen told Inside Edition in 2016. “Something was going on and Diana knew all about it.”

Aside from Streisand, Prince Charles was also linked to Dale "Kanga" Tryon, Susan George, Sabrina Guinness and Lady Jane Wellesley, according to Town & Country.

In addition, Prince Charles dated Lord Mountbatten’s granddaughter Amanda Knatchbull. They even had intimate photos taken in the Caribbean in 1977 that showed they had a great time together.

The Prince of Wales reportedly proposed to Knatchbull but was rejected. It was a dark time for Prince Charle since his uncle Lord Mountbatten was killed by IRA just weeks later.

Although Prince Charles was linked to Streisand, Robert Lacey believed that his failed marriage to Princess Diana was due to his being emotionally committed to another woman — Camilla Parker Bowles.

Prince Charles and Camilla dated before they married their first spouses. Both of their first marriages didn’t work. They, later on, rekindled their romance and got married.

Princess Diana blamed Prince Charles’ affair with Camilla for their failed marriage. In an interview, according to the People’s Princess, their relationship was difficult because “there were three of us.”

Princess Diana’s former royal protection officer revealed that the princess was desperate to reconcile with the future king. Princess Diana reportedly wanted their marriage to work for the sake of their two children, Prince William and Prince Harry.

However, Camilla never went away. She never distanced herself from Prince Charles. The Duchess of Cornwall refused to give Prince Charles and Princess Diana a chance to resolve their marital issues.
