Sarah Hyland's Boyfriend Wells Adams Claps Back At Critics Over Bed Selfie
Wells Adams claps back at those who criticized his sexy bed selfie with girlfriend, Sarah Hyland.
On Monday, the "Modern Family" star shared an intimate photo on Instagram. In the snap are Adams and Hyland with the latter hugging his dog, Carl, and they are all lying in bed. However, the photo received an intense backlash from critics because it looked like they were nude and were sharing a naked selfie.
Hyland has already apologized for her post. But her boyfriend, Adams, is not sorry and even claps back at their critics on social media.
"Today I learned the phrase 'clap back.' So, that's neat," Adams wrote on Twitter.
Prior to the said post, Adam shared a photo of him with Hyland on Instagram where the two give a middle finger. "You be June. I'll be Johnny," the "Bachelor" star wrote in the caption.
Shortly after Hyland uploaded her bed selfie with Adams online, one fan who deemed it inappropriate got her attention. The "Geek Morning" star explained why she uploaded it and apologized to those who find it offensive.
"Not putting her on blast. She just brought to my attention that the picture I posted might have been inappropriate since we're in bed," Hyland wrote. "So I just have to say I'm so sorry...FOR POSTING AN ADORABLE PICTURE BECAUSE CARL WAS ACTING LIKE THE NUGGETIEST SNUGGLW BUG! Couldn't let that moment pass without getting a picture."
In related news, "Bachelor" star Ashley Iaconetti claimed that it was Hyland who initiated her romance with Adams. "It was Sarah, Sarah [initiated it]," she said (via People).
"Sarah saw interest in Wells, reached out to Wells, and Wells showed interest back. What a beautiful story," Iaconetti added. "And the fact that they're having fun — I know Sarah just got out of a relationship, Wells has kind of been dating and also going on 'Bachelor in Paradise' and kind of had his romantic interest — so if their journey leads them together through whatever means, we should celebrate that."
Adams has already denied Iaconetti's statement. "Yeah, that's not really true @people," he wrote on Twitter.
