Super Bowl 2015 Halftime Show: Lenny Kravitz Teases Katy Perry Performance, Unexpected Song Choice
Lenny Kravitz teased his Super Bowl performance while he was at the 2015 SAG Awards. The musician was there to present Best Ensemble in a Comedy (at least that’s what he was pretty sure he was presenting), but that didn’t stop reporters from asking him about his upcoming Super Bowl XLIX halftime show performance.
Kravitz admitted he hadn’t started rehearsing while he was on the E! red carpet. However he did reveal he was headed to Phoenix after the 2015 Screen Actors Guild Awards. The singer added that he was exchanging ideas with Katy Perry via text message. “You might not expect this … the song choice,” Kravitz teased. “We've been texting back and forth and working it out.”
The performer also revealed he would root for the Seahawks during the big game. “It’s going to be a great game either way,” Kravitz said.
Super Bowl XLIX will be held Sunday, Feb. 1. Kick off will take place at 6:30 p.m. EST.
